Zusei is not a passive social media app that you can leave logged in on your work computer, your iPad, and your friend’s phone simultaneously. Because your Zusei account holds your financial capital (ZP), your immutable physical footprint, and your exclusive cryptographic event passes, we treat it with banking-level security.
To protect you from ticket theft and unauthorized check-ins, Zusei operates on a strict Single Device Enforcement architecture. You can only maintain one active session at a time. If you log into your Zusei account on a new phone, the network instantly and aggressively terminates the session on your old device, booting it back to the login gate.
If you are locked out, if you forgot your credentials, or if you received a "Session Terminated" error, here is the master guide on reclaiming your identity and resetting your access.
Scenario 1: The "Session Terminated" Error
If you open your Zusei app and are suddenly met with a "Session Terminated: Device Mismatch" error, do not panic. This is our security engine working perfectly.
Why it happened: You (or someone who has your credentials) successfully logged into your Zusei account on a different browser or a new smartphone. The system immediately recognized a new hardware token and burned the old session to prevent parallel ticket usage.
The Fix: If you initiated the new login, simply ignore the error on the old device. If you did not authorize a new login, your credentials have been compromised. You must immediately proceed to Scenario 2 to reset your cryptographic keys.
Scenario 2: Standard Password Reset
If you registered your account via the traditional Email and Password route, recovering your identity is a streamlined process.
Navigate to the Zusei Gate (the main login portal).
Click the "Forgot Credentials?" link beneath the login fields.
Enter the email address associated with your Zusei profile.
The system will dispatch a time-sensitive, encrypted recovery link to your inbox.
Click the link within 15 minutes to establish a new password.
Crucial Note: Changing your password acts as a global kill-switch. The exact moment your new password is saved, the Zusei engine will locate every single active session associated with your account across the entire globe and violently terminate them. You will then log in clean on your current device.
Scenario 3: Web3 Wallet and SSO Recovery
Because Zusei bridges the digital and physical realms, many of our most advanced users bypass passwords entirely.
Google / Apple Single Sign-On (SSO): If you created your account using Google or Apple SSO, Zusei does not hold a password for you. Your security is entirely delegated to Apple or Google's biometric infrastructure. If you cannot log in, you must recover your overarching Apple ID or Google Account through their respective native recovery channels.
Web3 Wallet Authentication: For the crypto-native subculture, your wallet is your identity. If you log into Zusei by signing a gasless message via MetaMask, Phantom, or WalletConnect, there is no password to reset. As long as you retain ownership of your private keys and seed phrase for your digital wallet, you retain ownership of your Zusei account. If your Web3 wallet is compromised or lost, and you did not bind a backup email address to your Zusei profile in the Studio, your footprint and ZP are permanently lost to the network. Guard your keys.
Advanced Security: WebAuthn and Biometrics
For users managing high-volume merchant accounts or holding extreme amounts of ZP, we highly recommend activating WebAuthn Biometric Binding.
Within the Zusei Studio, you can bind your specific smartphone's hardware (FaceID or Fingerprint scanner) to your account. Once bound, even if a malicious actor acquires your password, they cannot log into your account from a foreign device without your literal, biological signature.
