In the traditional internet, value is measured in abstract, easily manipulated metrics: views, likes, and impressions. In the Zusei ecosystem, value is measured by physical action. To quantify and reward this action, we created ZP (Zusei Points).
ZP is the lifeblood of our platform. It is a closed-loop, digital ledger system that tracks your engagement, rewards your loyalty, and facilitates transactions between users and vendors.
It is important to understand that ZP is not just a meaningless "loyalty star"—it functions as a versatile utility token used to purchase tickets, claim exclusive merch, and unlock VIP experiences.
Here is the comprehensive guide on how the Zusei economy flows.
How to Earn ZP (For Users)
Zusei flips the traditional advertising model on its head. Instead of merchants paying tech giants for ad space to try and get you to their store, merchants use Zusei to pay you directly for walking through their doors.
1. Node Check-Ins (Proof of Presence): This is the most common way to accumulate ZP. When you visit a verified Zusei Node (a retail store, a cafe, a pop-up shop), the merchant has attached a "Bounty" to that location. By opening your Zusei app, verifying your GPS location, and scanning the venue’s physical QR code, the bounty is instantly transferred from the merchant’s escrow wallet into your personal ZP balance.
2. Event Attendance: Event organizers heavily incentivize early arrivals and consistent attendance. When you purchase a ticket to an event, the organizer often attaches a ZP reward to the door scan. The moment the bouncer scans your digital pass via the Omniscanner, the ZP is credited to your account.
3. The Global Bonus Multiplier: Zusei periodically activates network-wide multipliers. During special city-wide takeovers or weekend subculture festivals, the Zusei protocol may apply a 2x or 3x multiplier to all standard QR scans across specific metropolitan sectors, allowing you to rapidly farm ZP.
4. Affiliate & Referral Kickbacks: Every Zusei user has a unique referral URL. If you share an event link using your specific ID, and a friend uses that link to purchase a ticket or RSVP, a percentage of the ZP transaction fee is kicked back directly into your account as promoter fee.
How to Spend ZP (For Users)
Accumulating ZP is only half the equation; spending it is where the Zusei ecosystem truly shines. ZP acts as liquid capital within our closed network.
1. Purchasing Event Tickets: The primary utility of ZP is access. Many event organizers on Zusei choose to price their event tickets exclusively in ZP rather than fiat currency. This creates a deeply engaged, loyal community. By farming ZP through retail check-ins during the week, you can essentially earn your way into an exclusive weekend warehouse party without ever spending a dollar.
2. Merchant Vouchers & Discounts: Retailers use Zusei to drive direct sales. Merchants can generate "Smart Vouchers" within their portal. For example, a streetwear brand might offer a "30% Off Your Entire Purchase" voucher that costs 5,000 ZP to unlock. You spend your earned ZP to claim the cryptographic voucher, which you then present to the cashier at checkout.
3. Unlocking Gated Tiers & VIP Access: Certain spaces on Zusei are restricted to "High-Reputation" users. An organizer might hide a secret VIP afterparty link on their profile that can only be unlocked by burning a specific amount of ZP.
The ZP Economy for Vendors & Organizers
For merchants and organizers, ZP is the tool you use to manipulate foot traffic and drive revenue.
1. Loading the Escrow Treasury: To incentivize users to visit your Node or Event, you must fund your venue’s bounty pool. Vendors purchase ZP in bulk packages via the Zusei Merchant Portal using standard fiat payment gateways (Stripe, Credit Card). This ZP is loaded into your specific Campaign Escrow.
2. Payout Telemetry & Cost Control: Vendors have granular control over their expenditure. If you want to drive traffic on a slow Tuesday afternoon, you can increase your Node's check-in reward to 500 ZP per scan. If your venue is nearing capacity on a Saturday night, you can dial the reward down to 10 ZP. Furthermore, you can implement strict limits (e.g., "Max 100 check-ins per day," or "Users can only claim this reward once per week") to prevent abuse and manage your budget perfectly.
3. Recouping ZP via Ticket Sales: Organizers who host high-demand events can set their ticket prices in ZP. When 1,000 users spend 500 ZP each to attend your event, that 500,000 ZP flows back into your Merchant Treasury. This creates a beautiful, sustainable feedback loop: you can then take that earned ZP and redistribute it as bounties for your future smaller events or pop-up nodes, essentially marketing your next activation for free.
The Web3 Bridge (The Future)
While ZP currently operates as an internal, high-speed centralized ledger to ensure instant, gas-free transactions at the door, Zusei is deeply integrated with Web3 architecture. In the near future, Verified Merchants and High-Reputation Users will have the ability to bridge their internal ZP balances directly on-chain, converting their physical engagement into verifiable, decentralized cryptographic assets.
Your footprint has value. Stop giving it away for free.
